Nick comes from diverse background in the field, was in the Marine Corps for over 5 years, holds a Computer Science degree and Electrical Certification, and has worked on many of Tekline’s high profile commercial projects. When Nick learned about an opening on Tekline’s estimating team, he quickly jumped on the opportunity. His proven strong work ethic, desire to learn and grow, and his determination makes him a great asset to the estimating team and was promoted from within. In Nick’s role as Estimator, he is responsible for developing professional, comprehensive and competitive bids, communicates with sub-contractors and suppliers during the bid process to obtain complete bid packages, reviews quotations for accuracy, best value, and availability, prepares detailed estimates, reviews project plans, specifications, and other contract documents, ensures bids are submitted on time, and maintains positive working relationships with clients, building owners, contractors, consultants, vendors, and partners.
